South Piedmont Community College
South Piedmont Community College is located in one of the top five fastest-growing regions in the United States. South Piedmont Community College offers credit and non-credit at three college-owned facilities and at dozens of off-campus sites across Anson and Union counties. The college is approved by the North Carolina Community College System and operates under the State Board of Community Colleges as specified in Chapter 115D of the North Carolina General Statutes. South Piedmont offers more than 30 different credit programs. The college is a member of the American Association of Community Colleges.
Old Charlotte Highway Campus, Monroe
The campus is located at 4209 Old Charlotte Highway, Monroe, near the geographic center of Union County. Credit, non-credit and Adult Basic Skills classes are offered. The campus is also home to the Conference Center at South Piedmont, a multipurpose facility that seats up to 500.

L.L. Polk Campus, Polkton
The campus is located at 680 Highway 74 West, Polkton. Credit classes are offered on the Polk Campus as well as a limited number of non-credit and Adult Basic Skills classes.

The Lockhart-Taylor Center, Wadesboro
Non-credit classes and Adult Basic Skills classes are offered at the Lockhart-Taylor Center, which is named for former Lt. Gov. Pat Taylor, his wife, Elizabeth Lockhart Taylor, and their families. The Ingram Community Room, named for Charles N. and Mary Alice Caudle Ingram, is located at the Lockhart-Taylor Center. The multipurpose room seats up to 500.
